With a heart full of sorrow, we announce the passing of Kenneth Eugene Myers, better known as Ken, who left us on November 3, 2025. Born on July 19, 1948, in Ogden, Utah, Ken lived a rich and full life defined by his love for family, a spirited zest for adventure, and an unwavering faith in God.

Ken was a reliable pillar of strength for his family and community, marrying his sweetheart, Julie, on June 6, 1972. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and generosity. Their bond reflected in their five sons, Brian, Justin, Devin, Matt, and Eric, who Ken cherished deeply. His love for his family was only matched by his love for his work. Ken was renowned as a pace-setter and top salesman at Z.C.M.I. and Dillards, where his charismatic presence and skillful haberdashery made him a favorite among his clients and colleagues.

An adventurous soul, Ken's love for the outdoors was infectious. His hobbies, ranging from hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing to skiing, and biking with his boys were more than just pastimes; they were a testament to his zest for life. His backyard was his canvas, where he indulged in gardening and yard work, keeping it in immaculate condition. His grandchildren will fondly remember the wrestling matches with their beloved grandpa, his infectious laughter echoing in their hearts forever.

A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ken served as a scout master, bishopric counselor, high councilor, and counselor in a branch presidency. His faith was unshakable, and he lived by the verse, "By love serve one another" (Galatians 5:13). Ken leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and faith.

He is survived by his wife, Julie, and sons, Brian, Justin, Devin (Julie) , Matt, and Eric (Amber), 7 grandchildren, Nick (Cortney), Zack, Carson, Samantha, Jordan, Mia, and Connor, 2 great-grandsons, Korbyn and Cooper. He also leaves behind his brother, Keith (Gay) Myers.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd Eugene "Gene" Myers Jr. and Jerry Myers.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held at on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11 am at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT, where a viewing will be held at the mortuary prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 am.

In honor of Ken, we encourage friends and family to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page. His life was a tapestry of beautiful moments that deserve to be remembered and celebrated. Let's come together to honor the beautiful life of Ken Myers, a man whose generosity of spirit and adventurous heart touched us all.
