Obituary for Suzanne Marie Murphy (1958-2024)
Suzanne Marie Murphy, age 66, of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024 in Collegeville with loving family members at her bedside. Born in Bryn Mawr, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Joseph Patrick Murphy and the late Valentine Marie (nee Eley) Murphy, the cherished sister of John C. Murphy (Lanie Benadez) of Tokyo, Japan, Mary Murphy Budzilowicz (Mitchell P.) of Collegeville and Marilyn Anne Murphy (William Wascher) of Silver Spring, MD and the adoring aunt of her nieces and nephews, Christopher Budzilowicz, Ian Budzilowicz, the late Danielle Ruiz Murphy, Matthew Wascher, Jocelyn Wascher, Monika Budzilowicz, Samuel Wascher and Amanda Budzilowicz and her grand nephews, David, Jack and Joe Budzilowicz.
Suzanne was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, Class of 1975 and continued her education at West Chester University towards her Bachelor of Social Work Degree. She had a passion for animals and for working with students with developmental disabilities, which led her to her career as a Paraprofessional, working in The Upper Merion School District in their Middle and High School Life Skills Program, until her retirement in 2024.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, June 7, 2024, where her family will greet guests from 9:30 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. and her Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family would appreciate Memorial Donations to Upper Merion School District, c/o Middle/High School Life Skills Program, 465 Crossfield Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406-2263.
