Thanh Van Nguyen, a devoted family man passed away peacefully at Virtua-Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on May 14, 2025. Born in Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam, he immigrated to the United States in his late teens and spent the majority of his life between PA & NJ. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to provide for the family he created here in the U.S. and his family back home in Vietnam. His unwavering commitment to his family was evident in every sacrifice he made and every challenge he overcame.
Thanh was not only a pillar of strength for his family, but also a cherished member of his community. As an active member of Most Precious Blood Parish, he was known for his quiet demeanor and his actions that spoke volumes. Whether it was lending a helpful hand, offering kind words, or simply being present, his contributions to the church and its members were immeasurable.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work and faith. Thanh is survived by his wife, Ngan Nguyen; his four children, Emmi Acconey (Husband, Christopher), Thuy Heng (Husband, Chanthorn), Tam Nguyen and Thao Nguyen; his grandchildren, Lily Acconey, Dean Acconey, Tristan Heng, and Blake Heng; his step-children, Tuan Nguyen, Nhu Nguyen, and Dang Nguyen; his step-grandchild Helius Nguyen along with numerous brothers and sisters in Vietnam.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening, May 23rd from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and again on Saturday morning, May 24th from 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM at Most Precious Blood Parish, 445 White Horse Pike, West Collingswood, NJ where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
