Ted Wickoren, Age: 80 of Brooklyn Park, Mn.,
More recently at New Perspective Senior Living, Minnetonka.
Passed away in his sleep on July 3rd.
Preceded in death by parents, Martin and Stella (Skoglund) Wickoren;
His 4 sisters, Sharon Borg, Lou Schwartz, June Wylie and Carol Wickoren, one brother; Martin Wickoren, Jr., and Dear niece; Shelley (Wickoren) Bright.
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ted lived the last 11 years at New Perspective, he enjoyed himself there immensely. It didn't take long before Ted was a favorite of staff and residents. Always had a smile and hello for everyone. He was on their Welcoming Committee, delivered Star Tribune door to door every morning for many years. Ted was a card game shark, he was always ready for 500, Bingo and Kings in the Corner, you name it. He could also be found at any of the puzzle tables working on the borders! He was such a kind, delightful soul.
We would like to thank New Perspective staff and residents for years of care and companionship. And Kindred Spirit Hospice Team for the recent months of tender loving care shown to Ted and to his nieces, Lori Brumm and Sandra Olson.
Memorial gathering from 2-4pm Thursday, July 28th at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park (763)560-3100.
Private interment.
