Jane Booen Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Minnesota (First Memorial Funeral Chpl.)-Brooklyn Park on Oct. 28, 2025.
Jane Elizabeth Booen, born November 30, 1965, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, after a year and 8 month long courageous battle with Stage 4 Metastases Melanoma and LMD (Leptomeningeal Disease).
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Nicholas; beloved mother, Carol Elaine Majerus, her father, George William "Bill" Booen, stepfather, Tom Majerus, and her best friend and partner, Robert "JR" Lehmkuhl. Jane is survived by her three children; Vanessa Rokhman (Kirill), Andrew "Andy" Cole, and Anthony "Tony" Cole; her four cherished grandchildren who brought her endless joy; Owen, Evelyn, Alex and Max. She also leaves behind her loving sisters, Ruth Rusch (Robert), Barb Olesen (Jerry) with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and laughter; nieces and nephew, Samantha, Miranda, Courtney, JR - many relatives and good friends.
Jane dedicated many years of service to the United States Postal Service. She worked during her treatments and excruciating pain because she was a dedicated employee and gave her all to her job with exemplary work ethic.
Outside of work, Jane embraced life with passion. She loved riding her motorcycle and dedicating herself to veterans in any way possible, creating things such as bandanas for riders, Christmas Stockings, apparel, and so much more. Fishing was another activity that she thoroughly enjoyed, and most of all, being surrounded by her family. Her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and unforgettable presence touched everyone who knew her.
Jane will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and creativity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Memorial Service 2PM Saturday, November 8 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park with visitation 1 hour before service. Interment at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Osseo.
Reception to follow committal service at Maple Tavern, 9375 Deerwood Lane N., Maple Grove, Minnesota.
