Timothy Dwayne Hill, son of Willard and Donna Hill, was born on June 20, 1968, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri. He passed from this life on August 6, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 56.
Tim graduated with the Mountain Grove High School class of 1986. Following high school, Tim began working at Tobin Hamilton shoe factory and worked there until they closed. He then went to truck driving school and began working at Wakes Trucking Company. From there he went to Cedar Creek Trucking Company and eventually Westside Trucking Company, where he worked until retiring.
After retiring from trucking, Tim went on to becoming the best “Bigfoot” hunting storyteller, Civil War lover, and wood carving junkie that anyone could ever have the privilege of knowing. He was an amazing son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. He was always one phone call away and could be counted on as the first to show up. Everyone who came in contact with Tim, but couldn’t remember his name, would remember his most frequent quote, “I hear that, I tell ya.”
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony and Harriet Hill and Earnest and Elenore Smith.
Tim is survived by his parents, Willard and Donna Hill of Mountain Grove, his brother, Tracy Hill and wife, Traci, of Mountain Grove, two nieces, Toschia Hill of Mountain Grove, and Trestyn Mesimer and husband, James, of Falcon, Missouri, two great-nieces, Madyson and Maliegha Mesimer of Falcon, and three great-nephews, Mavrick, Mason, and Maddex Mesimer of Falcon. Tim will be loved and missed by many other relatives and close friends.
