Victor J. Sirchia, 63, of Baldwinsville, formerly of Oneida, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been a patient since November 8, 2021.

Vic was born on September 16, 1958, in Oneida, the son of Victor J. and Cora F. Foster Sirchia, Sr. Vic is a 1976 graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management Science from the Jones School of Business at SUNY at Geneseo.

On May 12, 2007, Vic was united in marriage to Filomena Pascarella in Syracuse.

Vic was the owner and operator of Sirchia Certified Public Accountants and Financial Advisors in Syracuse and Oneida. He was previously partners with Robert F. Cuomo and together they ran Sirchia and Cuomo, LLP. He was licensed by the State of New York as a Certified Public Accountant and was also a registered QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Early on in his career his worked at Green and Seifert in Syracuse before opening his own firm.

He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS), and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. For the past twenty years, Vic has been especially dedicated to Oneida Health. He was currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Finance Committee, and the Chair of the Investment Committee. Due to his expertise in helping physicians, he also belongs to the Medical Group Management Association and the Institute of Healthcare Industry Providers. Vic was a former EMT for Campbell-Dean Ambulance and Penfield Ambulance for several years.

He loved playing golf and was a former member of Kanon Valley Country Club where he earned a hole-in-one. Vic enjoyed traveling with his wife, Mena, especially to Mexico where they would vacation twice a year. He was also an expert martini maker and would enjoy making his signature cocktails for family and friends.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Mena; are his stepdaughter, Tracy (Rick) Barillaro, of Montreal; two step grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Riley and Avery; and many dear friends and colleagues. Vic was predeceased by two sisters, Jean M. Ellis Kimball Elwood in 2020, and Eva Mae Ellis in 1954.
