WALSH, Wendy, age 74, passed away February 2, 2025, beloved wife of James "Jim" Walsh, loving mother of Emily (Ari) Fox, dear G-MA of Mabel and Sadie Fox, caring sister of Richard Hurwitz, dog-mom of Rosie and Fefe, and other loved dogs that have predeceased her, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Wendy was the Valley Temple Administrator for 43 years. She was the voice on the other end of the phone, the driving force behind lovingly planning all of the events and celebrations for Valley Temple and its members. Wendy was passionate about Valley Temple, its congregants, and the history of the congregation.
Wendy should be remembered in her highest moments as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Wendy loved a good laugh, had a big voice, and a huge heart. She loved a hot day by the pool, a good meal at a responsive restaurant, a great scrap-booking session, the joy she would get from her daughter and her beautiful family, and the joy from her Valley Temple family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 12:00PM at Valley Temple, 145 Springfield Pike Cincinnati, Ohio 45215, with visitation beginning at 11:00AM. Services will be livestreamed at https://valleytemple.com/sanctuary-video-stream/. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park 10209 Plainfield Road Evendale, Ohio 45241. Shiva will be observed at Valley Temple on Tuesday evening from 5:15PM-7:00PM with minyan at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Valley Temple or the charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
May Wendy's memory be for a blessing.
