Billy was known for his caring heart and listening ear. He approached life with a modest attitude and lived in the moment. Billy was a devoted Bengals fan whether they were winning or losing. He loved attending as many home games as he could. He also had a joy for fishing, either alone or with the company of good friends. To know him was to love him. He will truly be missed, and never, ever, be forgotten.
Billy is survived by his mother, Lisa (Timothy Abbott) Bishop; father, James Bishop Jr.; maternal grandparents, Edward and Margery Venable; paternal grandparents, James and Beverly Bishop; sister, Amanda (Timothy) Hancock; nephew, Jonah; niece, Veronica; uncle, Brian Venable; aunt, Mary (Thomas) Pennekamp; and cousins, Jamie, Jesse, Holly, and Debra. He is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Rd. 45231, follow the blue line once you enter the Memorial Park). The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM (same location). The 1:00 PM burial service will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
