William R. Fleming

EASTON——William R. Fleming, 57, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Friday, December 30, 2016 in Easton from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was the beloved husband of Deena Ellen (Cook) Fleming for 17 years and loving father of the late Robert W. Fleming who also died from injuries sustained in the accident. Born in Brockton, a son of the late Robert and Roberta (Holmes) Fleming, he was raised and educated in Easton and attended trade school for woodworking. A self-employed construction contractor, family devotion was most important to William including his 2 new grandchildren. A handyman, William was capable of repairing and building most anything. He took pride in maintaining his property and his hobby was darts. He will be missed by family and friends who knew him. In addition to his wife Deena, he is survived by three children, Joseph Gizzi of Easton, Kimberly Newman and her fiancé Guillermo Vizarreta of Margate, FL., and Amy Maliff of Easton. Brother of Mary Andrade of Weymouth, Jane Kachel of Providence, RI., Michael Fleming and his wife Arlene of Middleboro, Ronda Doyle and her husband Dennis of Easton, Linda Rubino and her husband John of Brockton, Jessie Blais and her husband Fred of Easton, Josephine Fleming of Plymouth, Theodore Fleming and his wife Lein of Shirley, and Marion Fleming of Brockton; grandfather of Skylar Lordan, Bailey Vizarreta; son-in-law of Margaret (Bernsten) Cook of Easton and Joseph Cook of Naples, FL. He was the father of the late Robert W. Fleming and brother of the late Sally LeMar, Jeffrey Fleming and Amy Fleming. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by funeral prayers at 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Furnace Village Cemetery, South Street, Easton.
