Born in Lewisburg on January 5, 1970, he was the son of Loretta (Conway) Bowersox of Montandon and the late William L. Yost Sr.
Bill attended Magnolia High School in Anaheim, CA, and had worked for A & R Disposal, Leer, Great Dane, and Schwann's.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step mother Brenda Yost of Anaheim, CA, eight children Cory Yost of Palm Springs, CA, Alexandria Neylon of South Williamsport, PA, Brittney Neylon of South Williamsport, PA, Breanna Neylon of Williamsport, PA, Enrique Yost, Pierre Yost, Christopher Yost of Montoursville, PA, and Chelsie Sopko and her husband John of Watsontown, PA, 10 grandchildren, two brothers Ernest Day of New Columbia, PA, and Michael Bowersox and his wife Lauren of Waynesboro, PA, three sisters Stacy George and her companion Matt Risbon of West Chester, Jennifer Yost of California, and Heather Guy and her companion Curt Heitzman of Milton, a stepsister Cindy Long and her husband Terry, a brother in law Brian Young of Montandon, his longtime friend Heidi Medina, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Pamela (Day) Young.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
