Wyman Martin Dean

Wyman Martin Dean, "Marty", age 85, of Ewing, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Capital Health Hopewell. Born in Hempstead, NY, Marty was a Ewing Township resident for the past 34 years. Marty as he was affectionately known was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving on the USS Lake Champlain CG57. He was an auto insurance adjuster for about 60 years. He worked at Longacre Appraisal & Adjustment Service in Philadelphia, PA since 2006 and just retired the beginning of 2022. Prior to his employment at Longacre he had worked for Farmers Insurance and Cigna Insurance. He owned his own auto body shop called Wall Township Auto Body many years ago. Marty was a car enthusiast who enjoyed tinkering on cars. He was a skilled wood worker who made furniture for his kids. He loved traveling to Disney frequently and taking cruises. Marty loved motorcycles and riding, but he loved nothing more than his family. He raised his step children as his own and loved hanging with his grandchildren. He married his wife Dianne on November 5, 1988 and together they shared a wonderful life.
Son of the late Wyman and Dirkina (Van Dyke) Dean; he is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Dianne (Carlisi) Dean; his two children, Richard Dean and Karen Grezner; his five step-children, Daniel Carlisi of NH, Stacy Cirello, Thomas W. Mostrangeli, Amy Rose Mostrangeli, and Tony Carlisi all of Ewing, NJ; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anni Dean Schillace and husband Leonard Schillace; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Interment of Marty's cremated remains will be held December 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. There will be no calling hours.
