As a former graduate of Sam Houston HS, Class of '57, am very proud of your accomplishments. You were a fine man whose life served as a role model to the many who remain. God bless.

Ken Starr was the finest of what a lawyer, Judge and educator should be in America. I've known Ken since 1970, and seen his brilliance, matched only by civility, decency and good humor. Whatever obstacles he inevitably faced in life, God gave him the fortitude to meet head on, and overcome. It never occurred to me I would not see him at our 50th Duke Law School Reunion in 2023. All I want to say is, I am devastated by his loss. Heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Alice Starr and his family.

I´m just a fellow Texan who truly admired Mr. Starr for his leadership and being a man of integrity in a time America seems to need them most. I had the privilege of meeting him and holding a brief conversation when my daughter was moving into her dorm at Baylor U. I felt privileged that such an important man would hold such a friendly and warm conversation with me. May God comfort your family at this terrible time of grief.

I served in the Department of Justice when Ken was the Solicitor General. He was one of the brightest, fair and most decent gentlemen I have ever met. Truly tragic.

Alice and family, how heavy my heart is, to learn of Ken´s death. I´m very troubled by his loss (this world needs people like him), but so grateful for his life and friendship. He made this place better!
Though like in the song ("I just looked around, and he´s gone") we miss him, he lives in the presence of Our Lord, and that makes me smile. All the best.

Dear Ken Starr Family,
Although I didn't know Judge Starr personally, I appreciated his integrity and search for truth. I read his book, Contempt and have begun Religious Liberty in Crisis. I'll miss his wisdom and courage. My condolences to you in your time of grief. God be with you. Sincerely, Donna Johnson

Ken represents what's best in America as a lawyer, an educator & Judge, he's my classmate at Duke Law, we met in 1970. All through the decades, I saw Ken fulfill in every way how a real man of honor and principle deals with everyone with decency and civility. It never occurred to me I would not see him, at our 50th Law School Reunion next year, 2023, and I am devastated by his loss. God Bless you, Alice, and my deepest condolences to you and all the Starr family.

Janice and I are sorry for your loss and share your grief in the passing of our dear friend, Kenneth. He will always be remembered by us for not only his intelligence and wisdom but for his wit. But the quality we appreciate the most is that even in his professional life and as he gained national recognition, he remembered those of us who shared in his formative years. Today, our neighbors still call our guest room the Kenneth Starr Room as this was the place he stayed with us when he came to do a fund raiser for our private school.
Finally, again allow me to say we are saddened at the loss of our dear friend but God has given us many wonderful memories which will keep him alive in our thoughts. May God bless and comfort you and your family and please know you are in our prayers.

Judge Starr was the epitome of the jurist every lawyer should aspire to be. My late father, Harris Dittmar, treasured their friendship, as well as their mutual love for the Constitution. America has lost a great patriot and an invaluable legal conscience. My heart goes out in sympathy for his family and loved ones.

Sincere sympathies to the Starr family, May God help you to endure your time of loss.
