Ralph was pre-deceased by his parents Dorr and Helen Howitt, and by his brother Walt and sister Sara. Later, with Annette, they sang for many years in church choirs and instilled their love of music in their children and grandchildren. Ralph and Annette loved travel and good family times. The values, goodness, love of people, and humor which he learned as a youth stayed with him all his life. I never had the privilege of working with Ralph, or knowing him socially, but he always greeted me as if I was an old friend. His warm and loving nature was so apparent in his great smile. I will always remember Ralph with fondness.

To the Howitt Family: I knew Ralph while involved with San Carlos PTA and then while working in the District. I will always remember his warm smile. I don't ever recall not seeing that smile. That smile always seemed to say, "I care" and he did! Please accept my condolences on your great loss. Diane Masetti
