Julio Iglesias Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 6, 2010.
It is with the greatest sadness that the family of Julio Caesar Iglesias must announce his death. Julio died on Friday August 6, 2010 from an apparent heart attack. Julio was riding his bicycle at the time of his death. Julio was born in 1962 in New York City but considered Sanford, Florida his hometown. Julio graduated from Seminole High School in 1980 then became a Firefighter for the Longwood Fire Department. In 1982 Julio enlisted in the US Marines and served in ceremonial positions, and that of an infantryman, until 1986. In 1988 Julio became a Firefighter for the Seminole Country Fire Rescue Department. In 1990 Julio became a paramedic for the department. Julio was still an active Firefighter Paramedic with 22 years of service at the time of his death. During his career Julio helped to save many, many lives, but would always point out that it was The Lord who saved those lives. Julio was a Christian man that will be sorely missed by hundreds of loving friends and family! Julio is immediately survived by his loving daughter Mariah, whom for Julio the sun rose and set upon, his adoring mother Clara, and his brother Richard.
