Deborah McCall Deborah Sue Tomlinson McCall, departed this life Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in Baytown, after battling a lengthy illness. Born in Ft. Worth on August 15, 1957, she was the youngest of four children born to Jackie Harris Tomlinson and Mary Louise Harrison Tomlinson. Deborah was raised in Highlands and graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School. For over 15 years, she was a valued member of the Bayer Material Science family, working at the Baytown Industrial Park Site in the Human Resources Department. As an HR Associate, Deborah provided friendly, courteous, and professional human resources and training services to her Bayer colleagues. She was a strong advocate of employee recognition and led many employee and safety initiatives. Whether spearheading the company picnic, coordinating the annual Professional Administration Assistants celebration, orienting new employees, or organizing Safety and Housekeeping inspections, Deborah provided a personal touch to company processes. Deborah will long be remembered with fondness for her quiet kindness and the helpful support she provided others. Like a gentle breeze through the Bayer Industrial Park Site, Deborah McCall has touched many lives and many hearts of family, friends and co-workers. Preceded in death by her parents; Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, E.J. McCall; children, Alisha Lea Garrett, Amy Louise Garrett-Del Toro, and husband, Jesus, and Adam Jay McCall; grandson, Ethan Jay Del Toro all of Baytown; sister, Casandra Tomlinson of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Steve Tomlinson and wife, Mary of Denver, CO, and Ronnie Tomlinson of North Carolina; as well as a host of loving friends and co-workers.
