Sandra "Sandy" Wilson Bolin, 49, wife of Timothy Bolin of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011. The relatives and friends of Sandra "Sandy" Bolin are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the graveside on Friday, February 18, 2011 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sandy was born on February 16, 1961 in Greenville, South Carolina, daughter of Ruthel Vanoy Wilson and Betty Jean Shirley Wilson. A dedicated professional in the mortgage industry for seventeen years, Sandy worked tirelessly for local families, helping them to realize the goal of home ownership. For the past fifteen years she was employed by First Citizens Bank as a mortgage banker and assistant vice president. Sandy will be remembered for her love of family, her courage, compassion, and optimism; always placing others before herself. She inspired many as she fought her illness with quiet strength and dignity. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Bolin of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Brock Wilson Bolin of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her step-daughter, Heather Bolin Savage of Chatsworth, GA; her parents Ruthel Wilson and Betty Jean Wilson of Greenville, SC; brother, Michael Vanoy Wilson and his wife, Janet, of Powdersville, SC; parents-in-law, Brunson and Hazel Bolin of Tyrone, GA, formerly of Greenville, SC; brother-in-law, Tony Bolin and his wife, Britton, of Fayetteville, GA; sister-in-law, Anne Bolin Culver and her husband, Rick, of Roswell, GA; niece, Sarah Michelle Mast and her husband, Michael of Easley, SC; nephew, Michael Vanoy Wilson, Jr. of Powdersville, SC; niece, Catherine Bolin Kohler and her husband, Michael of Roswell, GA; niece, Elizabeth Bolin of Newnan, GA; nephew, Corey Culver of Roswell, GA; niece Carson Culver of Roswell, GA and nephew Casey Culver of Roswell, GA.
