Mr. Jeffrey Roy Weeks

Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funerals and Cremations Dunn, NC Fayetteville, NC Jeffrey Roy Weeks, age 43 died Nov.9, 2012 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital. Preceded in death by his mother Michele Denton. He was a graduate of Pine Forest High School and UNCG. After retiring as a high school educator, he authored several books and wrote a weekly fishing column for Brunswick Beacon. Jeff was a contributing author for Yahoo and Examiner. Com and maintained his own fishing blogs on the internet. He was an avid fisherman who loved to fish under the bridge at Sunset Beach. He had excellent culinary skills, which he used to prepare his "catch of the day". Baseball and football were a passion of his and he never missed a Braves or Panther game. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday November 13, 2012 at Cromartie – Miller & Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating Rev. Michael Preedy. Family will receive friends after service. Surviving: Daughters – Elanor Jane Weeks and Zelda M. Weeks both of Greensboro, NC Father: Dr. Donnie E.
