SCHEER – Gustav R., of Westwood, died June 8th, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Gertrud M. (Mueller) Scheer. Loving father of Gisela Jenckel and her husband Dirk of Germany, Rainer Scheer and his wife Mary of Newton and Achim Scheer and his wife Karen of Walpole. Devoted grandfather of Elke, Christopher, Stefan, Carla, Brenda and Kurtis and great grandfather of Corvin, Rouven, Franka, Erik, Cadence, Will and Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Thursday June 12th from 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday morning June 13th at 10am. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery. Donations may be made in Gustav's memory to the Deutsches Altenheim German Centre, 2222 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Holden-Dunn-Lawler www.hdlfuneralhome.net

Our condolences to the family for your loss. We were fortunate enough to know Gus as a wonderful neighbor, someone with sharp wit, great humor, and warm personality. He was friendly with all the children and always a big smile. We will miss him.
