Norm Swicker had a huge influence on my life. I loved his classes. I was 16 when he arranged a job for me, working for a land surveyor and engineering firm. I had ambitions of being an architect but end up an industrial arts teacher. I´m retired after 33 years of teaching. I´ve shared much of what I´ve learned from Norm Swicker with thousands of kids.

It was Norm Swicker who first sparked my interest in a career in Architecture, while a sophomore at Lincoln-Sudbury in 1977. For that, I've been forever grateful. I'm very sorry to hear of his loss.

Betty,Peter and Family. I was so sad to hear about the passing of Norm. He was just the best guy you could ever meet. He had the best oak furniture that ever came to Holliston. He will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of such a loss. I would not be where I am in my career if it wasn't for Mr. Swicker and his architecture classes and SCAR program at LSRHS. I still have the balsa wood model of a house I made for his class! I enjoyed visiting him after graduating college with my degree in interior design and then seeing him again at the Great Gathering. He was such a nice man and will always be fondly remembered.

To coach swicker's family.... I am sorry to hear of his passing. I think often and fondly of him, he coached me for a few years and taught that effort, teamwork and sportsmanship were the best part of sports! I still have an award that he made out of wood. "Swicker" was an institution for us ...... And we all felt lucky to have such a dedicated coach .....my condolences
