Jerome T. "Binky" Lovasco Jr.

Jerome T. "Binky" Lovasco, Jr., 46, of Gloucester passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 5, 2018. Binky was born July 7, 1971 in Gloucester, he is the son of Jerome T. Lovasco, Sr. of Danvers and the late Mary (Hemmer) Lovasco. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and attended Gloucester Schools. Binky was a well known Painter for many years. He previously worked on the Gloucester Waterfront as a Commercial Fisherman alongside his father for several years. In addition to being the greatest painter in the area, all that knew Binky agree that he was best known for his smile, kindness and generosity. If someone was down and out, it was Binky they could always count on for a great laugh. His family was his truest devotion and meant the world to him. In addition to his father Jerry, Binky is survived by his son Brett Lovasco of Gloucester, his sister Laurie Lovasco of Danvers and his granddaughter Lexi Lovasco. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends. He was the uncle to Steele and was the Godfather and uncle to Aria. Binky's Funeral will be from the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St. Gloucester on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, 142 Prospect St. Gloucester at 2:00 PM. Visiting hours will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home on Thursday evening, May 10, 2018 from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in Dollivers Memorial Cemetery, Gloucester.
