Im just finding out about Arts passing. We were friends and neighbors and at times co-conspirators:). Absolutely loved him. Interested, intelligent, witty and a seriously cool cat! He knew all the great spots around LB and just about everyone downtown. We walked our dogs together, went to the performing arts events, he loved music and fine food. His greatest loves were his son of which he was so proud, loved it when it was time to visit, Barbara, the beautiful love of his life and his beloved best friend Tuxedo. Art, Im sure youre listening to the Jazz greats with Barbara and looking down on us with that mischievous smile of yours. God Bless you my dear friend and thanks for the memories. Just reading this now many months later. Now I know why he didnt answer his phone when we called him last year when we were in town. I was a tenant of his in Long Beach and he became a Dear Friend. Additionally, he helped me greatly during a difficult time in my life. Lots of love to Art and best wishes to those he left, and please know he touched a lot of lives.

I shall always remember Art walking his beloved dog no matter what time of day it was. Such fond memories. I could always count on seeing his cheery smile and friendly greetings. I will miss our little chats! Cyndi
