I want to send my love and prayers to all of Jackie's family. I had the pleasure of caring for Mrs. Hoffman in her final days. She was one of the sweetest women I have ever had the pleasure to know. She lit up when anyone walked into her room. My favorite thing to say to her was, "Hi Sweetie, it's Carol and I am going to be here with you all night tonight, OK?" She would look up at me and shake her head and smile back at me. We spent countless hours just talking. I would sit beside her bed and hold her hand or I would stand over her and rub her beautiful silver hair. That, she really enjoyed but it would make her sleepy. Once she fell asleep I would switch back to holding her hand. I will never forget you sweet lady. I will think of you often. Rest in peace. No more pain...Rest in the arms of Jesus. Little Angel, you have earned your wings.
