Joseph W. Tamburino

WESTFORD - Joseph W. Tamburino, age 76, passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Genesis Westford House after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Lois A. (Suffredini) Tamburino whopassed awayin 2002. Joseph was born in Boston on August 14, 1941, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Zinkowski) Tamburino. He served in theU.S. Army from 1963 until 1965 and was aresident of Westford since 1972. Prior to his retirement,he was employed as a consultant and hospital administrator at Lowell General Hospital and Lawrence General Hospital.Joseph was also a Certified Master Gardener with the Massachusetts HorticulturalSociety. He is survived by his daughter, Amy J. Tamburino of Westford; a sister, Ann Killion of Plymouth, MA; a brother-in-law, Peter Suffredini and his wife, Diane, of Medford; also many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Joseph John Tamburino who passed away in 2004. TAMBURINO- Family and friends may gather to honor and rememberJoseph at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. His Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock followed by a GravesideService at 11:30 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford.
