Michael W. Klinger

Michael W. Klinger passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on February 13, 2019 at age 66. Born July 28, 1952 in Lykens, PA, Mike was the son of Mary (Finton) and Arlo Klinger. He resided in East Norriton with his beloved wife of 33 years, Susan (Smith) Klinger. Mike is survived by his younger brother, Scott (Kathy) Klinger and was predeceased by his older brother David (Sharon) Klinger. Mike is also survived by his nephews, Brian and Stephen Klinger and Michael Gallagher. Mike was a 1970 graduate of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School and attended RETS Electronic Technical School. He last worked as a systems engineer for Fujitsu America and previously worked for Hitachi Data Systems and Memorex Telex. Mike enjoyed 20 years of boating on the Chesapeake Bay prior to becoming ill. He became involved in community interests in recent years. Relatives and friends are invited to Mike's Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 W. Germantown Pike on Saturday, February 23rd from 10-11 am. Mike's Memorial services will begin at 11 am and interment is private.
