Through the years I had many fond memories of Jim, but the one that stands out the most happened two weeks prior to his passing.

Judy and I were invited up to visit with Karen and Jim to do a dinner take out. Eagle Diner became one of Jim's favorite stomping grounds so we decided to order from there. As we sat around the table with Jim at the head all we could see was his bright eyes and big smile. He was enjoying his meal of brisket, mash potatoes and salad and looked like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar. Needless to say he was enjoying every bite!!

Jim, your journey is now over and your soul can finally rest in peace.

Hope Karen bronzes your JOE BOXER pillow:)

God Bless You!

Love,

Arlene

It is impossible to pick out one out of the many memories I have of my uncle Jim. Whether it is him trying to show a picture of his surgery, walking a deer head past the living room window, making his monkey keychain screech, or playing Boogie Wonderland on repeat in the bus, I remember them all so vividly. There are so many hilarious stories about my Uncle that so many have shared and I think that's a testament to the kind of guy he was, a funny entertaining dude. Aside from the hilarious stories, the times that meant the most to me were when we would hang out at the house or go to the diner and just talk. He never hesitated to provide me with some advice or lend an ear. I think that's what made our relationship so unique, he was my uncle but also a really good friend. He did wonders for my ego for reminding everyone to call me Dr. Joe and he always made it a point to tell me how proud he was of me. I'm not the kind of guy that needs my ego stroked but he always made sure I knew how he felt. My uncle meant the world to me and he always showed me kindness and taught me a lot about life. Uncle Jim, the memories I have of you will be shared with my children and my children's children. I will miss you terribly, but I am glad that you are not in pain and no longer suffering. Rest well you friggin stud. I love you and feel absolutely blessed/lucky that I am able to call you my uncle and one of my best friends.

Love,
Dr. Joe

What can we say Jim was one of a kind and we were blessed to have him in our lives for 30 years. Living one door away over the years the four of us shared many happy times with Jim always entertaining us as only Jim could. All he had to do was open his mouth and he had us doubled over with tears of joy. Jim you will be so missed but never forgotten. Your memory will live on in every life you touched my friend and that is a long list of Happy People with a smiley face on each.

Uncle Jim. Words cannot express your meaning to the family. You were always caring, every time I saw you. No matter what, you asked how I was doing and always mentioned that I got taller haha. My favorite memory has to be when you would take animal lawn decorations and make them walk by the window. The amount of joy you brought to the family and myself will always be cherished. Just know, while you're waiting for us on the other side, I will do my best to not (walk on the lawn). And I will make sure to carry that along with me in your honor.

I love you, I miss you, and I hope you are resting peacefully now. I cannot wait to see you again and here you say, cool beans.

Love your nephew,
Petey

I haven't spoken to or seen Jim since our days at MSC. For no reason at all, I decided to google his name this evening and his obit came up. Perhaps something in my sub conscious lead me to look him up this evening. I was in touch with Tom C til about 5 yrs ago. Jim was a character and we shared a lot of good laughs. I remember the fancy Buick he bought when we both were promoted. He loved that car. RIP

Jim, There are many memories that come to mind, The one that stands out most in my mind is the trip we took to the Cayman islands. It was a beautiful warm sunny day, we were having a great time in the water. Jay and I decided to sit on the beach and you decided to join us. You came running from the water, happy as a clam until you heard Jay and I gasp for air when we noticed the water had made your WHITE bathing suit transparent. I told you many times that visual will Never leave my mind. We had many good laughs and you will be dearly missed. I promise to look over your better half and my BFF. Until we meet again. Love Jay & Ethel

My sister Karen insisted I share this memory so here it goes..When my husband Doug and I first started dating he took me to a restaurant "Chez Odettes" in New Hope PA. The setting and restaurant were beautiful..We were in the" getting to know you" phase of the relationship so I wanted to make a good impression. I told Karen and Jim that Doug was taking me there for lunch. That was probably a mistake because as Doug and I were having a conversation about ourselves and our families in walks Jim and Joe (my sister Chris's husband). Now ordinarily this would not be a big deal but on this day Jim was in his mischievous joker form and had the great idea to go to an adult store "Condom Nation" in New Hope. He and Joe purchased 2 body sized condom hats and in they walked into the restaurant with the condoms on their heads. They came to our table and said they were passing by the restaurant and wanted to see how the date was going. Needless to say at first I was mortified but then realized this is my family and I am proud of them no matter what they wearing ..even condoms on their heads while crashing my date..we all burst out into laughter..and thankfully this did not phase Doug in the least..in fact he said to Jim.."You know Jim "as a doctor" I am impressed that you boys have a responsible attitude and are using the proper protection"...Jim laughed so hard and the bond was created..In fact we have had many laughs over the years far too many to list..So what we will remember about Jim was his quick wit and that he was the happiest when he knew that he made you laugh.. and this is something that will always be remembered and sorely missed.

Jimmy was fun to be around. He would always come up with crazy things to do. I remember when he took up glassblowing. He would amaze himself of the beautiful things he created and how excited he was showing them to me. I'll never forget his serious side playing the guitar. What little he played, he played well then he would have a shy smile after followed by his laugh that was only his. I've missed being around him these many years. A great guy. God Bless you Jim!

A character in every sense of the word. The love and care he showed to his friends and family will never be forgotten, and I feel fortunate that I was able to experience it firsthand.

I am thankful for all the laughs we shared, and he gets full credit for introducing me to Peanut Butter Jelly Time and "cool beans". I will miss him dearly, but I take comfort knowing he will always be with me wherever I go.

Love you, Uncle Jim. Thanks for the love, the laughs, and the smiles
