We have never met and you may get a number of notes from Randy´s time at Tulane but I just wanted you to know he was loved at the Sammy house at Tulane. I am sort of the unofficial keeper of the "flame" and have received many emails that I would like to share with you and your family. Please either call (504-606-1155) or send me an email if you would like to share. Marshall Gerson

We loved having Randy here and the times (too few) that we were in Charleston. He was clearly a person loved by his family and became the distant "poppy" to our family in Mobile and New Orleans. The commitment to care for animals fit well in our culture of dogs and horses and he will always be remembered for that. His origin and roots in Charleston obviously made the fit with us so very deep. He will never be forgotten. Greyson joins us in sending our love and prayers for the family. Thank you Randy, for the love and laughter!

Dear Ellen, Eric, & Family,
Randy was a wonderful person to know. Always friendly with a great sense of humor. Darren always appreciated his advice, and of course he never said "no" to Darren including the use of his truck! He reared fine sons to be good citizens in Charleston. We will miss him and find comfort in our memories. May you all find comfort in how much he loved his family. Charlene G Stuart
