Shirley A. Sweeney

Shirley Ann Sweeney passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 25, 2021. She was 86 years old. Shirley was born in Archbold, PA to Mary and William Lyons. She is survived and deeply missed by her children, Debra (Alex) Dobzanski, Diana Kulp, and Shirley (David) Bischoff; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Stahl, Michael Lyons, and John Lyons. Shirley is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Sweeney. Shirley spent her life in service to others, not only in her profession as an RN but also as a Eucharistic Minister and as a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Community, Secular Order Discalced Carmelites of Willow Grove. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and family and was loved by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to Shirley's Life Celebration on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 10AM to 11AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 West Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
