Cheryl Tuttle McDowell

Cheryl Tuttle McDowell, 62, of Summerville, SC, wife of Ronald Dean McDowell, Jr. entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 8, 2021. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 5:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service. Cheryl was born September 4, 1958 in Newfoundland, Canada, daughter of the late Melvin Tuttle and the late Wilma McCall Tuttle. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and antiquing in her spare time. She served as an Administrative Specialist with the Charleston County School District with 28 years of service. She is survived by four sons: Shane (Heather) McDowell of Moncks Corner, SC, Troy (Jenna) McDowell and Jared (Tiffany) McDowell all of Summerville, SC, Dale (Nikki) Boerst of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Keith Tuttle of Mobile, AL and Marc Tuttle of Summerville, SC; eleven grandchildren: Hannah McDowell, Ally McDowell, Ethan McDowell, Lily Graham, Luke Graham, Blake McDowell, Grace McDowell, Reagan McDowell, Aubrey McDowell, Cole Boerst, Kyleigh Boerst; and four great-grandchildren.
