Michael C. Starinsky

Michael C. Starinsky, age 89, passed away July 16, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 16, 1932, to the late Michael C. Starinsky and the late Marie (nee Larrissy) Starinsky Schneider. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1951 and from Bowling Green State University in 1958. He then worked for Cleveland Twist Drill/Acme Cleveland Corporation for 28 years where he met his beloved wife, Grace (nee Terrizzi). They were married for 60 years. He then worked for Bridgestone-Firestone Company for 24 years. After retiring, he worked for St. Matthias Catholic Church for a number of years as their business manager. Mike was seen by many for his caring nature and ready smile. He was the father of Michael G. (Toni), John (Jennifer), and Thomas (Katharyne). He was grandfather of Alyssa (Don Smith), Alex, Robby, John, Henry and Matilda. He also was great-grandfather to Donovan Smith. He was brother to Marilyn, Joan (deceased) and Bill (deceased). The family is grateful for the staff at Mr. Alverna Village and Holy Family Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Mike. Raymond Sutter at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1200 West Sprague Road, Parma, OH on Friday, July 23 at 10 a.m. Please meet at church. He will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, OH.
