Angus Cloud (1998–2023), Euphoria star

by Linnea Crowther

Angus Cloud was an actor who starred as drug dealer Fezco in the hit HBO series “Euphoria.”

Angus Cloud’s legacy

Cloud came to “Euphoria” with no acting experience; he had attended the Oakland School for the Arts alongside his future costar, Zendaya, but his concentration had been in production design, not acting. In a tale straight out of Hollywood legend, he was discovered while working at a New York City restaurant. The untrained actor became a breakout star of “Euphoria,” beloved by fans for the heart he brought to his character. Cloud starred throughout the show’s two seasons and had intended to continue in the show’s greenlit third season, which has not yet started filming.

After launching his acting career with “Euphoria,” Cloud landed roles in the movies “North Hollywood” and “The Line,” as well as the to-be-released “Freaky Tales” and “Your Lucky Day.” He also appeared in music videos for songs by Noah Cyrus, Juice WRLD (1998–2019), and Becky G and Karol G. Cloud also became a face of Gen-Z fashion, modeling for Amiri.

Notable quote

“I grew up in thrift stores. You have to find your own style, let your style develop. It’s not something that you can just take from a book. Style is how you hold yourself.” —from a 2023 interview for i-D
