Danny Dias (2017), Road Rules: X-Treme star

Danny Dias, a former MTV “Road Rules” star, died Saturday, June 3, 2017, according to multiple news sources. People magazine reports that he was 34.

Dias was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.

Dias was featured on the 13th season of the popular MTV series “Road Rules: X-Treme.” Season 13 took place in Argentina and Chile and was aired in 2004. “Road Rules” featured people competing for prizes based on a series of challenges.

Dias also starred on “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet 2,” which premiered in 2005.

Dias was a native of Linden, New Jersey. After his reality television career, Dias co-founded an AIDS research charity called Generation Cure, according to his LinkedIn profile.
