PnB Rock was a Philadelphia rap artist whose real name was Rakim Allen. Known for his melodic style, he released his debut mix tape in 2014 which led to him signing with Atlantic Records in 2015. His single that year titled “Fleek” was a viral video hit. His 2016 single “Selfish” made it to number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and he teamed with rapper YFN Lucci on the song “Everyday We Lit” which reached number 33.
