William F. Davis Obituary

Funeral service for William F. "Bill" Davis Sr., 86, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Ray Hallman and Pastor Laura Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Davis died Monday at Anniston RMC. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lela H. Davis; daughter, Pat Turley (Teddy); son, Frank Davis (Karen); grandchildren, Shelly Roberson (Erik), Brittany Davis and Trevin Turley; great-grandchildren, Landon Roberson and Annsleigh Roberson and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rocky Davis, William Southard, Jim Fannin, Brooks Hallman, Erik Roberson and Johnny Ingram. Mr. Davis was a member and deacon at First Christian Church. He was a US Army Veteran of the 1st Calvary Division Korea and a member of the American Legion. He retired from the Calhoun County Road Department and Forestlawn Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or The Gideons International. Online condolences made at www.graybrownservice.com
