William F. Davis Sr.

Funeral service for William F. "Bill" Davis Sr., 86, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Ray Hallman and Pastor Laura Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Davis died Monday at Anniston RMC. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lela H. Davis; daughter, Pat Turley (Teddy); son, Frank Davis (Karen); grandchildren, Shelly Roberson (Erik), Brittany Davis and Trevin Turley; great-grandchildren, Landon Roberson and Annsleigh Roberson and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rocky Davis, William Southard, Jim Fannin, Brooks Hallman, Erik Roberson and Johnny Ingram. Mr. Davis was a member and deacon at First Christian Church. He was a US Army Veteran of the 1st Calvary Division Korea and a member of the American Legion. He retired from the Calhoun County Road Department and Forestlawn Gardens.
