Leonard Clawson Obituary
Leonard was an active member of the American Legion Post 571, where he served as Adjutant Emeritus, served as Commander at Post 773, Finance officer Emeritus for the 29th District, and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Clawson; and his parents.
Leonard will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Claudia; his children, Michelle Kutterna, Vicky Saraceno (John), Dawn Colelli, and Christine Cummings (Greg); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th St., on Friday from noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Karen Foust officiating. Burial will be private.

Dad my heart is broken, I'm hurting so bad right now I can hardly breath. I'm so happy I got to come spend 2weeks with you in October 2020 but I never really thought that would be the last time I would kiss, hug and talk with you. I love you so much it hurts and I'm sorry I didn't call you enough but you were always on my mind and in my heart. You were the best dad a girl could ask for and I will miss you everyday. I hope you're dancing in the sky with the angels waiting for me so we can be together again along with my brother michael!❤❤

I will always remember, since we were kids we laughed and cried over some of the craziest things. I’m sad that I will not be able to reminisce about these and all the fun it was to be your friend.

Lenny was an extremely educated man when it came to the operation of the American Legion. I will always cherish the time I spent with him learning the job of Adjutant. I know his spirit will be with me during my discharge of those duties. RIP my friend.

My uncle Lenny was a great artist an awesome cook I remember when we were little he taught us girls how to roll out and make homemade noodles and cut them he will be missed rest in peace
