John Lucey Obituary
February 11, 1929 - March 15, 2018
Jack Lucey was born in San Fransisco in the Richmond District and graduated from Washington High School. He is predeceased by his parents John D. and Julia Lucey and his brother Donald Lucey. Jack was blessed with a beautiful family that he loved and protected and is cherished by his wife Charlotte Lucey of 61 years and his sons and daughters-in-law John and Katie Lucey, Robert and Margaret Lucey, Michael and Lori Lucey and seven grandchildren.Nationally known as an artist, Jack was a member of the U.S. Air Force Art Program, Washington D.C. where his paintings are on display. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean war. Jack taught at College of Marin and the Academy of Art in San Francisco and was an accomplished courtroom artist. He was also a member of the Marin Society of Artists and Marin Watercolor Society.
Jack will be remembered as a kind person who was always interested in helping others. Jack is loved by his family and friends and will always be in our hearts.
