Family-Placed Death Notice

Joe Neal Needham, age 78, of Loganville, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2006 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. The Reverend Jerry Meredith will officiate. Inurnment, Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson. A member of Corinth Christian Church, Loganville, a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the VFW Post #233 for 50 years, and a retired delivery man with Swift and Company in Atlanta, Mr. Needham is survived by wife of 47 years, Kate Yancey Needham; children: Rhonda and Wayne Wilson, Joe and Charlotte Needham, Jr., all of Loganville; step-daughter, Dianne Chambless, Woodbury; brothers and sister-in-law, William and Mary Needham, Atlanta; Woodrow Needham, Gene Needham; sisters: Dorothy Van Lear, Doris McCarty, all of Loganville; grandchildren: Chad and Suzanna Needham, Watkinsville; Laura Needham, Loganville; Kathie Wilson, Kyle Wilson, both of Loganville; great-grandchild, Linley Needham, Watkinsville; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, January 27, 2006 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052, 770-466-1544.
