I had the honor of knowing Dr. Louis during my residency training at Maricopa from '89-94. He was always a gentleman in both dress and manner. He always added practical advice during our fracture conferences and we always appreciated his mentoring. If I stayed in the state, I would have loved to have a personalized car license plate such as "talus" to complement his "tibia" plate. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I offer my condolences to the entire family. My parents and I knew Dr. Louis when he and his son, Clif came to our family's ranch in Roll, Arizona several Septembers back in the 70's for an annual event. He always brought fine wine, an appreciation of my mother's wonderful meals, great jokes and stories, dish-washing skills, and his cute teenage son. Our family had not seen Tim in many many years, but he holds a very honored place in our family tales. My dad recently died also, and I understand how hard it is to lose the patriarch. I offer prayers of healing to all of you. He was an amazing man and will be missed.

I only knew Dr. Louis for a short time, meeting him when I was lucky enough to be contacted to groom his beloved Bainbridge so he could take him to visit the kids at the Children's Hospital. He always made me laugh and he loved Bainbridge, that's all I really needed to know about him. May he rest in peace....

Loved those Christmas ski trips! Limerick contests, the amount of one dollar bills in an envelope, the same as our age, mulling cold duck with cinnamon and oranges; you liked it! Your loyalty and moral compass. These are a few things I will treasure and hold dear.
