Mrs. Chick was my favorite teacher - seriously. I had her for 5th and 6th grade at Pueblo Elementary School in Scottsdale. Many years ago, I was challenged by someone to write a note of gratitude to my favorite teacher. I was living in Utah at the time, but looked up Mrs. Chick and wrote her a letter expressing my appreciation for her love, kindness, and patience as my teacher. She responded to the letter and that began a yearly tradition of us exchanging Christmas cards. I always loved hearing from her each December and still recognized her hand-writing from when she was my teacher so many years ago. She was a wonderful woman who left a tremendous legacy and had a positive impact on my life. May God bless you with fond memories of her and comfort knowing she is with our Heavenly Father and Savior again. - Deborah Benson Larsen

Aimee was my cooperating teacher. I loved this lady. Because of her, I learned how to be a teacher. She and Betty Cauthen gave me a baby shower for my first baby, after I began teaching with them for five years. Over the years we lost contact. I did get to be reacquainted after meeting her at a Dolan Ellis concert. I just now found this obit after wondering how she was doing. Love to her three boys and their families. I am sure she is pleased to be reunited with her Henry. A truly great woman.

I remember her well and fondly -- she was my history teacher at Pueblo, and as I recall, she was awfully good at it, and a kind and thoughtful person as well. My sincerest condolences on your loss.
