Bill Hommel was a wonderful man with a terrific smile and a 'twinkle' in his eye! His warmth and genuine caring always came through. He raised a lovely family and he and Joan had a beautiful relationship. They will be missed.

From the moment we started going to Father McDonough's Healing Services, me and my children became a part of the Hommel/McDonough family! We were included in all the holidays and they became our family as we had no family in this country!
We are from Ireland and we fit in beautifully with this very warm loving Irish family who took us under their wings. Sister Priscilla, Joan, Bill and the extended family made us welcome at all times. I spent so many happy times with Joan and I knew Bill could never go on without her. They were a dedicated loving pair and I always called them "Darby and Joan!" They were fortunate to have a marriage everyone hopes to have but few obtain! Now, they are together in Heaven, starting a new life together with the rest of the family. They were goodness personified and our loss is God's gain! Farewell my friends, you will not be forgotten! Much love Fran, Lorna, Louis & Yvonne Gunning.

I loved and adored my Uncle Billy so much....I remember as a child witnessing his wedding to Aunt Joan as my mother sang Panis Angelicus, with my sister Kathy in utero and my father by my side. He was a champion in my eyes and heart, a man among men....and I shall miss him forever.....my deep, sincere and loving condolences to all of his family, my cousins and their spouses.....love, Dorothy O;Neil Sale
