D'AGOSTINO, John (Giovanni) 89, of Newton, died Wed, Oct. 26, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He would have turned 90 on November 9. He was the husband of Brigida Rossi. He was also the husband of the late Amelia D'Agostino (Salvatore ). Born in Sant'Elia Fiume Rapido, Italy he was a resident of Newton for over 60 years. He owned and operated D'Agostino Associates, a masonry company, for over 50 years. Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Romeo D'Agostino, and his wife Susan, of Needham., Antoinette Vitti and her husband Donato of Newton, Maria Crowe and her husband Michael of Medfield, and Rosanna Sampson and her husband, Craig of Charlton. Besides his children he leaves 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his step children, Yola and Aquilino Barletta of Stoneham, Maria and Furio DeSimone of Needham and Anna Rossi of Brighton. A funeral will be held on Wed, Nov. 2, 2016, at 9AM. from Magni FH, 365 Watertown St, NEWTON, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM in our Lady Help of Christians Church, Newton.
