Dear Reinsdorf Family, I am an old friend of David's, Jacqueline (Jaster) Beinlich. David & I have been friends since Highland Park H.S. We have not talked in some years and have lost touch. I was the one who actually introduced David to Lisa and was a Bride's Maid at their wedding on Father's Day so many years ago. I have so many fun and wonderful memories of being around David, Lisa and their children. From their apartment in the Hancock, the sky boxes watching the Bulls or Special Events or just hanging out at their house. David & Lisa helped my husband Scott & I give are only child William a fun-loving childhood. William is in Heaven. He became an angel 117 weeks ago last Sunday. I feel your sorrow. I have a very precious memory. Will was 6 months old and Lisa knew I had to take a few hours off so she asked David "Can we babysit tonight?" David replied, "Only if his name is William." That was my first night away from my newborn. To Bryan, Melissa, Max & Nathan know how much he loves you, you will make him proud, be as strong as you can be and the best as you can be. Then one day you can tell your dad "I did it for you." A poem: ANGEL'S PENNIES: I found a penny today just laying on the ground. But It's not just a penny this little coin I found. Found pennies come from heaven that's what my Grandpa told me. He said angels tossed them down. Oh, how I loved that story! He said when an Angel misses you, they toss a penny down, sometimes just to cheer you up, to make a smile out of your frown. So don't pass by that penny when you're feeling blue. It may be a penny from Heaven that an Angel's tossed to you. God Bless, Jackie

I first met David when Max played BGRA Baseball on one of the teams I managed for my son, Brett. I had seen David more recently in and around Chicago. He was always upbeat and a pleasure to talk to. I hope the Reinsdorf family can find comfort in this time of loss.

Dear Reinsdorf Family,

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing. We hadn't seen each other in over 30 years, but I'll never forget our times together at Northfield Mount Hermon and in the Highland Park area in 1981. A few years ago we connected by Facebook. David was a great guy and he will be missed!

I had the pleasure of meeting with David on two occasions. The first time he was applying for a job to work for me, and the second time I was applying for a job to work for him. It's funny how the wheel turns. He seemed like a very sincere and nice young man. We are sorry for his sudden departure and for your loss.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Reinsdorf, and the entire Reinsdorf family: It was devistating to hear that David has passed away. We were very close friends during our teenage years, into our 20s, and remained in touch as we grew into adulthood. I admired and respected his strength and perseverance, as he gracefully navigated through the many challenges of parenthood. He was in many ways a private man, always looking on the bright side with a smile, joke, or anecdote. He had a true kindness. It is terribly sad for your entire family and his many friends. May the good memories bring you peace in the upcoming months. My family is here to assist in any way, please know that. Regards, Davta Hutig Siegel and family.
