Hebron, KY - Edwin Arthur Schneider Sr., age 83, a resident of Hebron, KY, passed away on August 15, 2018.
He was born April 30, 1935 in Cincinnati to the late Edwin William Schneider and Kathryn Ginandt Schneider.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mrs. Mary Ann Schneider (nee' Sefton); his children, Beverly Nagel (Mark), and Edwin Schneider Jr. (Kama); grandchildren, Perry Schneider, Danny (Mary) and Tommy Nagel (Laura);great grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Luke, Adam, and Joey Nagel; brother, Denny Schneider (Mary); brother in law, Frank and Marion Sefton.
Visiting hours will take place at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Ave in Cincinnati on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 10am-12pm. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Edwin's name to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017, American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Road, Cincinnati 45227, or Shriners Hospital, 3018 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229.

Dear Mrs. Schneider, Bev, Eddie and Family,
At this difficult time, you have my deepest sympathy and love. Mr. Schneider was a joy to be around with a great sense of humor. I will truly miss him. Just know that he is with our Dear Lord and will never be gone; he will be with you in your hearts forever.

I had the pleasure of taking care of Ed for two nights at st Elizabeth Edgewood. In those two nights, Ed and Mary Ann reminisced about his time with the reds, and their great adventures they had just experienced in Florida. I have thought about him everyday since, hoping he would find peace and heavenly grace to ease his suffering and discomfort. Even though I only knew him for two nights, he touched me in a way I never thought possible. I'm very thankful I was a part of his journey. My thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful wife, Mary Ann and as well as all of his family. God bless.
