Michael Wade Cliett

Cincinnati - Michael Wade Cliett, of Cincinnati, OH, passed on February 1st, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 53, after a long and courageous battle with lymphoma. Mike was born on February 13th, 1964 in Augusta, GA. His parents, Gene and Melba Cliett, moved him, his sister, Kathy (Springer), and his brother, Brian to Cincinnati when he was 8 years old. He was an adoring husband to his "My You," Kirsten Cliett (née Swanson Miley), a doting father to "the lights of his eyes" Erika Cliett and Nick Cliett, and deeply devoted son to his father, mother (d.1982) and later his stepmother Marilyn. Mike had a lust for life, happiness, and laughter that was contagious and genuine. Mike's radiant disposition was showcased with a quick smile or a joke (sometimes at your expense). He possessed an indomitable strength and a kindness that was only exemplified by his love. His heart knew no bounds and he would show you with a kind word or gentle hug that he was there should you need it. Mike was a pillar within his family, and those lucky enough to have crossed paths with him are better for having known him. Mike surpassed on how a man should be a husband, a father, a brother, a son and a friend. For all that knew him, there was no one better than Michael Wade Cliett.
