I just learned of Pete's passing, I saw a jewelry savers commercial and it was not him. I did a Google search and the news hit me like a rock. I worked for him in the nineties and loved him and the family. Greatest boss ever and an amazing human being. Kim I would have been at his service if I had known. Hugs to you this holiday. I am sad to here this. May God bless you with peace and comfort this holiday.

I worked with Pete in radio many years ago. Our paths crossed again when my husband & I got engaged in 2008. I just learned of his death today when a link appeared on my Facebook page. Pete was a kind & generous soul & an awesome human being. His passing leaves a void on the planet but every life he touched was truly blessed.

We just heard this sad news today and were shocked and saddened. Pete and my husband shared a love for Weimaraners and hunting. Always a smile on his face and a happy greeting. While we weren't close friends we held Pete in high regard and respected his knowledge, talent and honesty. He is a loss to the entire community. Rest In Peace, Pete.

I found out about Pete's sudden passing on this past Saturday when I went on the store. The news left me in tears and with the reminder of how precious and short life really is. My prayers are with you. I find comfort in knowing that while I would rather have had him here on earth with us, he is in heaven working on our golden crowns. This man was my "go to" friend for all my jewelry needs for the past 20 years. He never charged me for a watch battery and never failed to greet me with a smile and a booming "hello" that I can hear as I write this condolence. He was my precious friend. Our Heavenly Father will surely use him in the choir! May God comfort his family and friends as we cherish this wonderful man's memory..

My wife and I were so terribly saddened by the news of Pete's passing. I knew Pete for many years and he knew my dad. Pete was alot like my dad as he was simply....A man's man. I loved talking to him and will always cherish the fact that we were friends.

God has a new angel who is sure to brighten up the skies. Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for his loss. May his family find peace in a time that is so hard for everyone. I don't believe I have ever met a person that could look at life in the positive way that he lived his life. Pete was a blessed man. He lived well and loved greatly. To have enjoyed the gift of his one true love in marriage, and the love of his daughters, family and friends, is to have experienced one of the true meanings and blessings of life here on earth.
Pete was a bright light that surrounded everyone near him with friendliness, warmth, and laughter. Now Pete's bright light will shine in different ways -- through a song one hears, a warm breeze one feels, the touch of a child, a feeling so strong that you know he's right there with you - so many different ways - all that will be cherished forever. Kim, there are no words that can describe how sorry I feel for your loss, your daughters, and the rest of the family.
Something to ponder -- one morning a few years back, I was listening to music as I was driving to class, with no particular thoughts on my mind. Seemingly out of nowhere a powerful 'message' came into my awareness which I will never forget. The message was that If we here on earth knew what heaven was really like, really truly like, none of us would want to remain here because the glory of heaven is truly beyond description. God has a reason for us living on earth, and I can't help but think that Pete fulfilled his reason for being here and it was time for him to go home. The way he lived his life, wow, what a wonderful legacy to leave for us all.

Even though I lived in Arkansas City, Jewelry Savers was a special stop for me. I sometimes would stop just to see if Pete had his dog with him. I loved to visit with him about our love of Weimaraners. I always felt so welcome there by everyone. Pete did several pieces of jewelry for me that I love. Pete was a great friend to everyone that knew him! He will be greatly missed!
