The world has lost one of the greatest men ever. Mr. Barefoot was beyond describable. I loved his work and the way he taught music and rewarded us when we got the right answer with a single treat. You are gone from this earth, but if we are living for Christ we will see you again.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Barefoot. He was my 5th grade teacher at College St. Elem. He was one of the best teachers I ever had. He taught us well, not only in our subjects but in life, he showed he cared about us, he also showed us God's love. He was a great man and I know he is rejoicing in Heaven with his Lord and family that is there. May God bless you Mrs. Barefoot and all the family.

I think I got my love for M&M's from Mr.Noah. At school and church I learned so much from him. More than anything was the love he showed to everyone. He said to be like Christ was to love and be loved. He was loved by so many and will be missed, but truly Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Until we meet again Brother Noah, I love you!

My family and I will always remember Mr. Noah. He taught us all a lot. My fond memory was he inspired my brother to play the trumpet and he always worked with him at practicing his trumpet. He was overall a godly man and he always had a smile on his face.. And he will always be remembered for all his kindness and his talents..

Grandpa, I will always remember the lessons you taught me throughout my life. You were the person who first sparked my passion for music when I was so little. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have had you as my grandfather. Being able to tell you I love you, hold your hand, and sing you Amazing Grace one last time is a memory I will cherish forever because I know that you could hear me and I know that you loved that song. Daddy was waiting up there in heaven for you, I know it, and we will all join you soon. I love you. Grandma and the rest of my family, I love you all so much and we will get through this as a together.

There is no other name for Noah, but a"man of many talents". The many times we talked music will forever be etched in my mind. It seemed he and I "played" off the same page. Our music traveled deeper than basics. It came from two talented people that had servant's hearts. Noah, I've missed our years making music...even the times you came to the house to watch me play the accordian. One day after you've traveled a thousand miles along the hillsidein Heaven talking to your old friends and fellow students we'll sit down and put our minds together and glorify Him with our music. You and Westa are loved (Westa, you'll always be one of my dearest friends). Dolores Reynolds

A precious man has been called home. Mr. Barefoot was a gift that God loaned to all who were blessed to know him. It was an honor to share many teaching, musical and artistic experiences with him at Salemburg Elementary School in the 70's-90's. Rest in peace Noah. May God's peace and comfort be with your family, Westa.

Noah was one of the sweetest, most talented people I had the pleasure to meet & be in painting classes with at SCC.. His Christian love for people radiated from him so naturally. God has gained an angel & we can be thankful God let Noah be here with us for the time we had him.
