What a friendly and encouraging classmate Craig was! I was hoping to catch up with him at our 55th white station high school reunion in October of `22 but instead, sadly, I saw that he had passed. When I woukd see him on the Memphis State campus, his smile was always a joy to see! I was so glad his sister, Cynthia joined my sorority, Delta Gamma. It is obvious from the obituary that he trusted in & walked, in the ways of the Lord. I´ll see him again!

Coach Galloway was my pee wee baseball and basketball coach, but he was really the man that gave me hope for a better life and the framework of discipline to achieve it. I was a lost out of control kid. Coach Galloway gave unconditional friendship, set and enforced rules, and taught me the skills needed for achievement. I left Memphis as a young man, spent a long career as a soldier, I’ve had a very rich life, a strong family, and a successful career due to the influence of Coach Galloway. I’ve worked with generals, admirals, ambassadors, academics, political and business leaders; Craig Galloway made a greater positive impact in me and on my life. His was a life of service that made the lives of many better, he made our community stronger, and taught this wild child what a real man was. I haven’t seen Coach Galloway since I was about 12 but his lessons remain a daily part of my life. I pray for God’s Peace and Comfort for his family. Craig Galloway’s life was a life “well lived”.

The White Station and Ridgeway High School faculties and staffs (Memphis, TN), send our sincere condolences to Frances and the family. Craig was an amazing person and he loved his White Station Spartans and his Memphis Tigers! We shall miss him and his wonderful smile. May he rest in the sweet peace of God's love. May his family find strength in the Lord's promise and in each other.
