Marion Alley Obituary
She was born in Wilton, N.H. on October 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Victor and Amelia (LaCass) Tripp.
Mrs. Alley was a tireless defender of the underprivileged and those with special needs. She considered her most rewarding career work to be her years spent as a supervisor with Bancroft Products, a Concord-based job training and vocational rehabilitation services company.
She is survived by her husband, George Alley of Concord, N.H., and her five children: son, Daniel Tromblay and daughter-in-law, Kathi (Chicago, Ill.); daughters Candace Tromblay (Concord, N.H.), Kimberly Tromblay (Goffstown, N.H.), Nanette Tromblay (Albuquerque, N.M.) and Jennifer Gagnon and son-in-law, Rick (Spring Hills, Fla.). She is also survived by her step-son, Scott Alley and his wife, Marge, of New York, and step-daughters, Donna Alley and Wanda Botticillo of Concord, N.H. She also leaves behind her sisters, Elaine Allan of Georgia and Janice Keeler of California; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Marion was predeceaced by her brother, Theodore Tripp.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King Street, Boscawen, N.H.
Because of Marion's great love of animals, her family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made on her behalf to the Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Road, Concord, N.H. 03301.
