Gloria L. Zelmore, 78, of Mt. Pleasant (Bullskin Township), died Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at her home.
She was born April 20, 1942, in East Huntingdon Township, a daughter of the late John D. Betker and the late Alma Bowman Betker Collins.
Gloria was formerly employed at Burns Drug Store in Mt. Pleasant and at J.C. Penny in Mt. Pleasant and Greensburg. She was a volunteer at Frick Hospital for many years, and she was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Emerson Zelmore; her daughter, Susan Domer and her husband David of Bullskin Township; her grandchildren, Tyler Domer and Megan Winter and Allison Shultz and her husband Nathan; her sisters, Doris Bowman and her husband Frank of Ruffsdale, Diane Langley and her husband Harry of Prittstown, Darlene McConnell and her husband Richard of Mt. Pleasant, Colleen McElfresh and her husband Robert of Prittstown and Noretta Michalski and her husband Frank of Mc- Donald.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, John D. Betker, Fred Collins, Ronald Collins and Robert Collins; sister, Shirley Ulery and an infant sister, Joyce Elaine Collins.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, where services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with her brother-in-law, the Rev. Harry Langley, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
