Jack & Marion Cassidy

While Marion and I were building our present home in Johnstown and staying in Fonda the
Great Flood of 2006 arrived and suddenly we were homeless. Betty quickly offered her
house to us at no cost and with no limits on length of stay( or pets.) We are eternally grateful
to her for her generosity. As a director of the local food pantry she was also involved in feeding the
poor and was truly an example of the grace of God. She has performed other works of mercy that
space on this entry will not allow. It is as if we we were touched by an angel.
